At AnciLab, Lucio Franco is responsible for the design and organisation of events and knowledge-sharing initiatives for the Municipalities of Lombardy, carrying out institutional and professional networking activities that foster dialogue between municipal administrators and officials, public bodies, and local stakeholders. The aim is to promote the sharing of development models that can contribute to the wellbeing and sustainable growth of communities.
Among the founders of the Innovation Labs format, he organises initiatives dedicated to topical issues for public administration, such as sustainable development, physical and digital security, smart cities, and the valorisation of cultural heritage. These initiatives, which may also involve public and private companies, enable open exchange aimed at broadening participants’ competencies and highlighting, through targeted communication activities, the role of local institutions.
These activities respond to AnciLab’s objective of bringing to light the good practices and expertise already present within public administration, disseminating concrete experiences and design and technical capabilities.
